| After the derailment of a northbound freighttrain in the Gotthard Base Tunnel on august 10, with severe damage of the west bore, all passenger trains are rerouted over the Gotthard mountain line, now also called the panorama line. "Giruno" highspeed train of the SBB, RABe 501 # 009 "Zürich" is running through Wassen as EC 10314 from Milan to Zürich. Notice the slightly damaged coupling cover, which is made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic. |
