On the night of September 21st, 2023, CDOT Extra 6707, led by back to back CTrail (CTDX) GE P40BH's 6707 & 6709, tows 10 MBB BTC/CTC-3 coaches over the Shaws Cove Bridge in New London, Connecticut on the Shore Line section of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. The railcars were on their way back to the MBTA in Boston, Massachusetts after serving a 5-year lease on the Hartford Line in the state of Connecticut.
