NJ Transit Aqua Track car no. 9933 is bringing up the rear of a short MOW train seen passing Highland Ave Station, returning to Hoboken Yard. The sprayer car at the end of the train uses high-pressure water jets to remove crushed leaves from the tracks, as these can reduce friction and cause braking and traction issues for trains. In the background, Morristown Line train 6635 to Dover is rounding the corner. |
