| New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R40A no. 4501 is seen laid up at Coney Island Yard. This car was involved in a collision with R-16 no. 6304 on a GG train near Roosevelt Ave on May 20, 1970. The car was subsequently repaired & returned to service.
