On Saturday, December 2, operations on the entire RhB network were severely affected by the heavy snowfall. Several lines such as Tiefencastel-Bergün, Chur-Arosa, Davos-Filisur and between Zernez and S-chanf were closed for many hours or even the whole day, mainly due to fallen trees. There were many long delays and train cancellations, and some rail replacement services could not be set up due to closed roads. A replacement train on the S1 line from Chur to Schiers arrives in Landquart at 14:26. It may be train 1516, which was delayed by around 15 minutes, but it could also have been the train from an hour earlier. In use is a push-pull train, which usually runs between Chur and Arosa, with leading control car BDt "Neva Retica" # 1756, a second class car EW I built in 1969 in the "Bärenland" design (since 2018), a mixed 1st/2nd class car EW II AB and the pushing "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3513.
