There is plenty of water around Marquette, as near record high flooding is making things difficult for CP. The CP is fighting back hard with many work trains and constant raising of track. North of Marquette, the hard work has paid off, as the railroad is far from flooding on the way to LaCrescent.
Here, K54 heads out of Marquette Yard to stage this empty belt train in the siding. The PTC bungalow is flooded out at the south wye, and the MofW is doing a lot of raising track in McGregor behind me. The river is around 22.8 feet and crested at 22.9 feet on 4/28.
