| Making a Connection.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R41 locomotive no. 56 (GE, 45-ton, 1967-1968) couples up to newly delivered R252 flat car no. 822 (Harsco Rail, 2019-2021) at the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal. Plenty of TA and NYPD personnel were on hand during this move to block 2nd and 3rd Avenues so the train could pass. I'm sure many commuters were shocked to see that the seemingly abandoned railroad tracks they cross every morning were actually in use! |
