| "New Geeps For the Springfield Line"
On the afternoon of February 26th, 2024, Amtrak EMD GP38-3's 734 & 728 trail on "Amtrak Extra 123" as it pulls into Springfield Union Station in Massachusetts after a journey from Albany, New York. 734 (ex LI 263) & 728 (ex LI 253) are two of 36 newly rebuilt EMD GP38-3's purchased from Progress Rail to replace the aging MP15DC work locomotive fleet.
