Wide Cab and Standard Cab "E" Rebuilds: NS 7005 (a rebuilt wide cab SD60E) and NS 6320 (a rebuilt standard cab SD40E) take NS H76 west towards Allentown, PA after interchanging cards at Manville Yard. Norfolk Southern chose to rebuild their SD50s into SD40Es with the same standard cab during the SD50 rebuild program occurring between 2008 and 2014. When Norfolk Southern rebuilt their SD60s however, they chose to rebuild them with their custom "Crescent Cab" instead, with the SD60 to SD60E rebuild program occurring between 2010 and 2017. SD60E NS 7005 was rebuilt from SD60 NS 6547 (formerly HLCX 5966, UP 5966, and originally CNW 8049) in June of 2015. SD40E NS 6320 was rebuilt from SD50 NS 5402 (formerly CR 6706) in November of 2009.
