Some people enjoy the day and ice on the back waters of the Rock River near Sterling. An eastbound coal train bound for Weston, WI, for Wisconsin Public Service, has a good roll on them as they skirt the outside of the Rock River on this small causeway on the eastside of Sterling/Rock Falls on the UP Geneva Sub. The train will deliver to the CN near Wisconsin Rapids, WI, for the delivery to the plant.
