Heading from Omaha, Nebraska, to Long Beach, California, BNSF Railway train S-OMASCO3-30A speeds through the Mojave Desert just outside Essex, in California's Mojave Desert. BNSF Dash 9-44CW 4012 leads a four-unit consist up front (Dash 9-44CW 4748, Dash 9-44CW 4448 and ES44C4 6780) with two more units (ES44DC 7424 and ES44C4 6672) shoving on the rear. (Essex, California – February 3, 2014)
