Remarks & Notes |
On the approximately 115-kilometre-long double-track Zurich - Chur railroad line, there is an approximately 1-kilometre-long, single-track section at Lake Walen near Tiefenwinkel between Mühlehorn and Murg. The 133-metre-long Stutz tunnel is also located here. The timetable is designed in such a way that trains can pass through the section without interfering with each other and there are currently no plans to upgrade to double track. Re 620 # 028 (Re 6/6 # 11628) of the SBB pulls the freight train 60280 from Buchs SG via Sargans to the Limmattal shunting yard (RBL) on the single track section along the Walensee between Tiefenwinkel and Mühlehorn and will soon enter the 133 meter long Stutz tunnel. |
