| On the approximately 115-kilometre-long double-track Zurich - Chur railroad line, there is an approximately 1-kilometre-long, single-track section at Lake Walen near Tiefenwinkel between Mühlehorn and Murg. The 133-metre-long Stutz tunnel is also located here. The timetable is designed in such a way that trains can pass through the section without interfering with each other and there are currently no plans to upgrade to double track. "Traverso" train RABe 526 # 106/206 of the Südostbahn (SOB) is running on the single track section along the Walensee at Tiefenwinkel, between Murg and Mühlehorn, as empty transfer train 36752 from Chur to Zürich. In the background is motor vessel "MS Quinten" as ship # 15 of the Walensee Schifffahrt on the journey from Weesen via Betlis-Mühlehorn-Quinten-Au-Unterterzen-Mols to Walenstadt. |
