On August 2, just before 10 a.m., a catenary fault occurred in the Winterthur Tössmühle area. There was a complete disruption to services between Winterthur and Effretikon until around 1.30 p.m., as well as occasionally between Winterthur and Winterthur Töss. In the afternoon at 3.40 p.m., repair work could be observed in Winterthur Tössmühle, where 3 tracks from Winterthur join to form a double track in the direction of Kemptthal. On the right diesel tractor "Ameise" Tm 234 # 207 with a Xs work car. Re 420 # 337 of the SBB is passing with freight train 50774 from Gossau SG to the Limmattal shunting yard (RBL). This train was about 100 minutes late, because there was previously no capacity due to the section between Winterthur Tössmühle and Kemptthal, which only had one lane. The repair work for the catenary were finished at about 6 PM.
