Moving Power. On August 8, 2015, a Norfolk Southern special move passed through Horseshoe Curve in Altoona Pennsylvania with a cargo of export locomotives from General Electric in Erie, Pennsylvania. EMD SD40E 6337 and SD60 6658 are seen with the 4 (red) Transnet (South Africa’s) GE ES40ACi and 9 (white) Indonesian Railways GE CM20EMP locomotives moving on flat cars, which will be delivered to the Port of Baltimore, Maryland to be transferred to ships. The scene is framed by EMDs as the train passes the stationary display of ex-Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) GP9 7048 (12/1955), a resident of the park since shortly after PRR K4 1361 was removed for restoration in 1985.
