| CSXT GP38-2 #2625, sporting the L&N paint scheme on the nose is seen leading job L818-06 back north across South Street in Talladega, AL. with interchange from the EARY a couple of miles south of town. It's pretty remarkable to be photographing an L&N motor on former L&N tracks in 2024. This line was once part of the Birmingham Mineral Loop, the section between Sylacauga & Talladega is now owned by Eastern Alabama Railway. |
