The 11 o'clock Fall Festival Express rolls past the Palmer Mill in Williamsburg on the return to Hurlock during the Hurlock Fall Fest on October 5, 2024. The mill, unfortunately, is no longer rail-served. However, the adjacent property, Tri-Gas & Oil, is an active customer for the Maryland and Delaware Railroad. The ‘Seaford Line’, the former PRR/PC Cambridge Secondary Track, has been operated by MDDE for owner Maryland DOT since 1977.
The re-engined Alco is ex-DCLR 1203, exx-CR 9942 (RS3m), exxx-CR 5268 (RS3), exxxx-EL 1052, née-DLW 914. The two former Norfolk & Western coaches, 1730 and 1721, are owned by the town of Hurlock.
