Colorado Pacific has an interesting paint scheme. We wanted to see it while we were out here. Lucky for us we got intel on a move on Monday out to the Weskan elevator near Stuart. SD70MACs are coming to this property. This is the ex-BNSF 9832, which has an invertor problem and wont be used tomorrow on the run east. Sounds like they were going to get their 2nd SD70 at Pueblo Tuesday to help out the loads that need to go back to the UP. As we rolled into town for the night, a thunderstorm lit up the sky.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
