Remarks & Notes
Fake UP 410 has been pushed outside the fences of the Galveston Railroad Museum and set up for an obstructed view at the time. Unit is actually Fairbanks Morse H20-44, ex-AC&Y #505, that was damaged by Hurricane Ike in 2008. Several museum pieces sat in salt water during the hurricane and evidently didn't take it very well. Luckily, I took several photos of this unit on this date. A few months later, around 08-13-2025, there were reports coming out of Galveston that this unit was scrapped on site. Guess I know now why the museum pushed it out of the compound back in March.
