| Pickens Railway's "Anderson Job" has just left the First Quality plant near Anderson and heads towards town to work the interchange with Norfolk Southern. In the lead is ex-CSX B40-8 #5970 and trailing is the recently acquired ex-GSMR GP38-3 #1009 in a paint scheme honoring military and first responders. Affectionately referred to as “Captain America” by the crew, I was definitely surprised when I saw this unit in the consist. |
