Copper Basin Railway train OT-1, with 60 cars loaded with 7800 tons of sulfide ore from the copper mine at Ray, heads southbound through a Saguaro forest toward Ray Junction on its run to the smelter at Hayden. Today's train is pulled by GP39-2 403, GP39 505, GP39 401 and GP9 207. Once off the Ray Block, the train will be considered eastbound.
