Remarks & Notes

This yard at Thomas was a collection spot for several local mines in the area. This whole division was torn up from Romney to Elkins after Chessie takeover. Also, the local mines had low quality vanes with high sulpher content in the coal. To see more circus painted Western Maryland click here.
