The Superior, WI - Minot, ND manifest is a few hours late this beautiful Friday evening as it races against time before the eastbound Empire Builder will force it into the hole somewhere along this former Great Northern route. Complicating matters is the long, heavy train and a climb out of the Red River Valley, but the GP50 leading the way will add a few more ponies to the mix.
