The Hotel Burlington, at one time one of the finest hotels in the midwest (and now affordable senior housing) stands by with basement pumps running. The BNSF Ottumwa Sub was not yet open, but the yards are under only about a foot of water in a few places. On this Sunday morning, R.J. Corman and BNSF crews are about to lay siege on the area to get it back into running condition. Based on the response I saw here on Sunday morning, maybe we should hand FEMA over to R.J. Corman.
