| It's 14 years ago on July 4th and a UP Passenger Special is flying American Flags in honor of the day. The train is returning to the Bay Area after a weekend of excursions at Portola. During July 4th weekend 1994 UP and the Portola Museum operated 4 round trips over 2 days between Portola, Keddie, and Reno Jct. In this scene the Union Pacific A-B-A E unit set (963B and 949 trail) hustles 15 cars (including 6 domes) SB towards Sacramento.
