Billed as "The Great Reunion" at the National Railway Museum at York. The weather made it more like, "The Great Downpour". Heavy rain prevailed while we witnessed a sight that hasn't been seen for over 40 years. Four streamlined A4s together. All the UK based class members were brought together for a on-off event. 60009 Union of South Africa, 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, 60019 Bittern and 4468 Mallard stand side by side in the NRM yard. We were charge $65 to get in just to photograph it. I got soaked through, but since I haven't seen such a gathering for 46 years, I reckon it was worth it. More shots to follow.
