Remarks & Notes

As sunset nears, this eastbound coal train is wide open trying to get speed up after just climbing Agency hill east of Ottumwa. This train is heading to the EJ&E at Eola, IL for furtherance to Hammond, IN for Commonwealth Edison. This train was loaded at the mine in Decker, MT.
