| NS 39Q's crew is blowing 9904's horn as they always have for many decades, but soon the noise I love to hear will cease. The quadrant gates (pictured) when finished will block the streets of Springfield completely, making Springfield a quiet zone. This project is being done to make visitors to the Courtyard Marriot Hotel (behind the tree on the far right) more happy. |
