Snow as high as an elephant's ear, or something like that! The most snow in more than 30 years and the passengers of the westbound Empire Builder are getting a close up view. The excavator is one of several machines clearing snow, so the plow has room to throw the next snowfall. Look closely and you can see the remnants of the slide fence.
