Remarks & Notes
Diamonds are a girl's best friend. The brick tower that stands at CP U252 guarding the former crossing of the Milwaukee Road and the Rock Island is shaken by the passing of UP Challenger 3985 running on the ex-RI, now the UP's Spine Line from Kansas City to the Twin Cities. The Milwaukee Road was at the time of the picture controlled by the Iowa Chicago & Eastern, now it is Canadian Pacific trackage.
