Remarks & Notes
The Cotton Mill Express, a main line special that has run each month in 2008 on a round trip from Manchester round parts of East Lancashire and West Yorkshire. Black Five no. 45407 is seen here about to enter Standedge tunnel at Marsden running the circuit the opposite way to usual. The bridge in front of the loco is actually an aqueduct. You can see the water flowing along and being carried above the tracks.
