Remarks & Notes
Diesel power has just uncoupled and moved ahead out of view and backed into a siding, leaving Soo Line 1003 in charge of the mainline and an eastbound. She'll earn her keep today, spending a few hours posing in a production set in the 20's, to be filmed at the depot a couple miles ahead. It'll be a cakewalk though, just static scenes and no runbys. Nevertheless, she'll boil about 1,000 gallons of water away per hour keeping the steam pressure up at the depot and will need to re-top the jug down the line at Palmyra late afternoon when she gets rolling again.
