| The westbound Empire Builder storms into Grand Forks about 35 minutes before its eastbound counterpart shows up. Severe weather has greatly impacted Amtrak operations across the northern tier leading to these rare daylight appearances and meets in Grand Forks. And, yes, I ran away like a spooked cat after this shot trying to avoid the blizzard that was coming my way! |
