| Amtrak's eastbound Empire Builder is running about three hours late on Christmas Eve as she sails east over the Two Medicine River at one of the most famous locations on the former Great Northern Mainline. This was my first visit to the Hi-Line and of course this is one of the requisite shots, alas the snowy gray skies didn't afford me a view of the spectacular mountains in Glacier NP, but it was still a joy to behold nonetheless. |
