Last year's main steam event on the first annual National Train Day (Saturday, May 10, 2008) was the Lerro Productions' charter of Milwaukee Road 4-8-4 261, seen here passing the ex-Milwaukee Buffalo Lake depot. Unfortunately, a year later, the big Northern is laid up in Minneapolis, as its boiler time has run out.
