Remarks & Notes
Former FEC/Savannah & Atlanta 750 on display in the exhibit hall at SERM. This elegant Pacific played an early role in the Southern steam program in the 1960s and '70s, and was also operated by the New Georgia in excursion service during the late 1980s. Though she looks good enough to steam off onto the mainline tomorrow, the engine would essentially require a brand new boiler and firebox to ever run again.
