Remarks & Notes 
The curved Foss River trestle provides the setting for this dramatic illustration of the forces involved in moving a rail car from one place to another. Just a couple feet from falling 75' or more to the river below, one of the wheels of this car reflects the concrete ties and rails it has yet to travel . The near perfect alignment of the ties and seemingly glued in place ballast brings to mind a meticulous model railroader's handiwork. Click Here for another photo from the Scenic Sub.
