GMTX 2646 along with QGRY 2004 is bringing loads of Wind Towers from Marmen Industries in Cap de la Madeleine to the yard. Quebec Gatineau Railway got a contract with MARMEN industries, the largest wind tower manufacturer in North America, to ship wind tower sections by rail to the US Midwest. The second shipment will leave tomorrow for the connection with CP in Montreal. Hopefully that new business for the railroad will be a success, as the previous shipments were all made by trucks.
