Remarks & Notes 
Here is a detail photo of the 750's headlight and smokebox front, featuring the prominent brass 'candlesticks' astride the headlight. 750 also wore a brass eagle above its headlight while in excursion service for the Southern, but it has been removed for safekeeping. Such decorative pieces commonly adorned locomotives on southern lines, and added a touch of class and pride that is harder to find in today's corporate railroad world.
