Introducing SEPTA's latest Silverliner design - the Silverliner V. This is the third of what will be an order for 120 units which will replace the Budd and St Louis Car built Silverliner II's and III's. Personally, I'd rather see 120 Silverliner II's ordered as these look like subway cars which they are not. They are built in Korea by UTS which is made up of Hyundai Rotem of South Korea and Sojitz Corp. of America. Get your pics of the II's and III's before they fade into history like their former owners, the PRR and the Reading Railroad.
