Remarks & Notes
1909-built 'Edward Sholto' is one of many Hunslet 2-foot gauge tank engines supplied to various railways that once served the Welsh slate industry. Several are preserved. This engine was shipped to North America in 1961 where it had a few owners but was never restored or steamed. It was repatriated in 2006 and has been restored to original condition and now sees occasional use on the ffestiniog railway.
