Gone. After becoming the first railroad in the US to completely dieselize, the D&M (and successor LSRC) relied on Alco power. Currently, only one Alco (C425 1280, trailing) remains. This photo from better times shows an elephant style duo of classic centuries in the sweet evening light. C425 181 now sits retired in Saginaw, MI.
