Remarks & Notes

Two Class 24s cross the Knysna Lagoon on the approach to the station. The boat in the foreground was long a feature of the lagoon. The cat is a metal cut-out, meant to frighten birds. It was not very successful. The Knysna Heads are seen in the background. One of my ancestors was the first harbour pilots of Knysna, and would guide the tall ships through the Heads.
