The shop building (now gone), and perhaps the rails, date to the days of the New Haven Railroad. And while the unit is of the era as well, the NH owned FL9s, not F7s. Rather, the NH-painted 6691 belongs to Connecticut DOT's Shore Line East commuter operation, and is pictured in the wee hours awaiting its next assignment.
