Remarks & Notes 
The face of two Texas-types, PRR and Santa Fe. One burned coal, the other burned oil and pulled coal. The Santa Fe engine is believed to be #5018 and was being shoved up to the water plug before being fired up. John had been tipped off a week previous that the SF engines were about to be fired up, so he returned on the way back home after railfanning Chicago & Detroit.
