Remarks & Notes
The Rarest Locomotive in the United States? I could not find a picture of this locomotive on the internet anywhere. This locomotive is owned by the FRA, and is used at the TTCI site for testing. Note the catenary wire above going into the shop building. Most of the TTCI trackage is wired, so electric high speed testing can take place. Currently just inside the shop building is a street car looking thing. In just the last few years this shop has tested engines such as the SD70ACe, Acela, Japenese trainsets and many more. Taken on VERY private property, with permission from the United States Federal Government under supervision.
