Remarks & Notes
Well 579 was to cutoff its train at Ossian and run their power over to Ft Atkinson to help 606 up Calmar Hill since they had bad power. Due to 579 having bad power too and authority restricting their speed, they didn't make it very far. Here at MP 39 they are stuck in a decent drift. Contractors begin the task of clearing the snow away so the power can be unstuck. Fun times on the Mason City Sub!
