| This Milwaukee Road Cab had been apparently bought by CNW to fix one of their units and was just sitting up on blocks at the North Green Bay Shop in the fall of 1985. My notes say it was either Milwaukee number 1500 or 150. As the 150 was an SD40-2 I find it kind of hard to imagine that this was its fate at this early date. My guess is it was 1500 as most Milwaukee Road GP35's were retired not long after the Road pulled back from the west coast. Anyone with any information on it? By this time security was a lot tighter at North Green Bay and I didn't feel comfortable about leaving the confines of the parking lot to really check this derelict out. |
