| While the Soo presented a fairly modern appearance in the 80's with lots of modern power, cabooses and welded rail, it still had moments where You could feel that maybe time had stood still for say 20 years or more. I always felt this view was one of those moments as I stood watching this operation of a non MU equipped SW working the rear end of an eastbound freight at Neenah. The little tower standing tall over the scene looks like it may have been there when 2-8-0's ruled these rails. |
