| Shad fisherman watch as a high hood GP38-2 leads two other units and two Theile tank cars across the old L&HR bridge from Easton to Phillipsburg. The recent closure of a bridge near East Stroudsburg has all but cut off interchange traffic to the DL at Slateford Jct. The two thiele cars are for the Rock-Tenn paper mill which is just south of the closed bridge. The tank cars are still interchanged with the DL at Slateford Junction, but all service to the paper mill is done via track mobile. |
